About the Role

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to own and grow relationships with Reisiger’s most important clients. Our client base includes agricultural cooperatives, mining operations, retail enterprises, and banking institutions — organisations where data-driven intelligence directly shapes business outcomes. You will be the bridge between our clients and our engineering teams, ensuring that every engagement delivers measurable value and deepens the partnership over time.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in account management, client services, or business development in a technology environment
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise client relationships with demonstrable retention and growth metrics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills — comfortable engaging C-suite and institutional stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen with experience in proposal development, contract negotiation, and revenue forecasting
  • Understanding of technology services, SaaS platforms, or data-driven solutions
  • English language fluency, written and spoken (Afrikaans advantageous)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in one or more of Reisiger’s core industries: agriculture, mining, retail, banking
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline management methodologies
  • Background in data, AI, or enterprise software sales cycles
  • Experience working with government or quasi-government institutions
  • Understanding of due diligence, compliance, or regulated industries
Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end relationship with assigned key accounts — from strategic alignment to operational delivery satisfaction
  • Develop account growth plans that identify expansion opportunities across Reisiger’s service and product offerings
  • Serve as the primary client contact, translating business needs into actionable briefs for engineering and product teams
  • Manage contract renewals, upsell opportunities, and commercial negotiations
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with clients to demonstrate value delivered and align on future priorities
  • Collaborate with the CEO and engineering leads to shape proposals, scope engagements, and price solutions
  • Monitor client health metrics, identify risks early, and proactively address concerns before they escalate
  • Contribute to CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting, and revenue forecasting processes
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of enterprise accounts worth R5M+ annually
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or technology sales environments
