THE SOLUTION Reisiger partnered with SA Wine to mature and expand on an initial concept for reinivesting industry levies into commercializing research projects, initially developed by Cadence Lyfe. Reisiger developed a novel and innovative venture studio concept for AgriGenesis that, through combination of digital technologies and hands-on venture building initiatives, would provide industries with a mechanism and platform to deploy and reinvest levies into the success realization of emerging Agri-Tech startups and commercializing research projects. This would not only drive a paradigm shift in the way that economic opportunities are shaped and supported in the agricultural industry, but would offer new agri-tech startups with funding opportunities and hands-on support to increase their probability for success. In addtion, the unique model would provide industries with a reinvestment vehicle to fund promising startups, generating a return on investment that would benefit the industry as a whole.
